Sample Dynamic Learning session for Tiny Tots

STEP ONE

Arrange students in six columns

One arm distance in front; double arm distance on sides

This warm up is inspired by the Brain dance developed by Anne Green Gilbert.

Let us bring the five elements as we perform this warm up.

BREATH – Breathe deep and slow – exhale through mouth and inhale through nose

TACTILE – Rain drops (finger tips); Fire (hard palm scratches); Breeze (light touch)

CORE-DISTAL – twist and shrink, twist and grow

HEAD-TAIL – C curve

UPPER BODY – Hold lower body still & move only the upper half – hand swings.

PAIR & MIRROR – Lower Body, Body sides, Cross lateral, Eye tracking

VESTIBULAR – Bear crawl spin with hands leading, crab walk spin with feet leading.
