Session Components: Line Leader Warm up | Circuit Training | Coach Video: Gravity is working on you | Cool Down & Pledge
Every student must
* respond to the session activities willingly and enthusiastically
* be motivated, foster self-confidence and build competency in the skills being taught
* learn and understand the value of the movements by respecting self and others in the spatial setting.
Every student must
* demonstrate with competency the movements of jump up on an aerobic stepper, Oblique leg raise, Reverse crunch, Dynamic Plank, Fire Hydrant, Squat Jumps and Supine marching on a Swiss Ball.
* imitate and execute with efficiency the movements lead by fellow student during the warm up segment.
Every student must
* value and display their creativity while performing the Line leader warm up
* Synthesise the various movements in the circuit to the major muscle groups being worked upon
* internalise the physical literacy pledge.
Every student must
* identify and distinguish the seven zones and correlate the exercise for each
* understand and comprehend the coach video lesson on how gravity is working on us and why posture is important
* apply the learnings on posture during the static stretches.
Classroom Interaction:
* How did you like being a leader? Why do you think it might be important to experience being a leader?
* Why is it important to train in all the 7 zones?
Home Challenge:
* Can you create a circuit addressing all 7 zones that were presented?
